The Umbrellas: Most photographic umbrellas are single-use reflection-only umbrellas, and is one that reflects the light back onto the subject (see images below), and thereby softens and diffuses the light. The Translucent, "shoot-through" umbrella, however, allows us to use it both ways: either reflectively, or to turn the umbrella around, and shoot the light directly through the translucent material. These are brand new, top quality, light stands. This light stand extends to a height of 6 1/2 feet, and folds down (fully assembled) to a tad over 3 feet for easy packing and transport.
